Summary

THE IV CURVE OF A TRANSFORMER (IE THE RELATION OF THE SECONDARY VOLTAGE V AND THE TRANSPORT CURRENT I IN THE PRIMARY) IS CALCULATED UNDER THE CONDITION OF MELTING VORTEX LATTICE. THE ROOT DEPENDENCE OF THE IV CURVE TYPICAL OF THE TRANSFORMER OPERATING IN STANDARD MODE IS SHOWN TO DISAPPEAR IN THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE RANGE. FOR COMPLETELY MELTED LATTICE, THE MAXIMUM OF THE V (I) CURVE SHIFTS TO LARGER CURRENTS, WHEREAS V IS MUCH LESS THAN THE PRIMARY VOLTAGE WITH ANY I.
