Summary

THE PROPERTIES OF A DISORDERED SNS JUNCTION DETERMINED BY MESO SCOPIC FLUCTUATIONS ARE CONSIDERED. IT IS SHOWN THAT MESOSCOPIC FLUCTUATIONS MAY DEFINE THE SUPERFLUID CURRENT THROUGH A SNS JUNCTION IF THE MEAN CURRENT IS SUPPRESSED. BY VARYING THE INTENSITY OF THE MAGNETIC FIELD PERMEATING THE SAMPLE, CONDITIONS MAY BE CREATED WHEN THE SNS JUNCTION POSSESSES SEVERAL STATIONARY STATES FOR A GIVEN CURRENT. THE FEASIBILITY OF THE EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATION OF THE PHENOMENA IS DISCUSSED.
