Summary
A METHOD OF EXERGY ANALYSIS OF DRYING INSTALLATIONS USING HEAT PUMPS WAS DEVELOPED. IT IS SHOWN HOW THIS METHOD IS USED FOR A COMPLEX PLANT AND FOR AN INSTALLATION USING CLOSED CIRCUIT AIR CIRCULATION. THE RESULTS OF THE EXERGY ANALYSIS ARE PRESENTED IN THE GRASSMANN BAND DIAGRAM WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO EVALUATE THE EXERGY LOSSES IN EACH COMPONENT OF THE PLANT AND TO DETECT THE LESS EFFICIENT ONES. WITH THE EXERGY ANALYSIS, IT IS POSSIBLE TO PREDICT MEASURES WHICH WILL INCREASE THE THERMODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY OF PLANTS. C.C.
