Number: pap. 026

Author(s) : BUYADGIE D., NICHENKO S., SECHENYH V.

Summary

Necessity in gaseous and liquid helium stably rises, but energy expenditures on its production are still high. In this paper, schemes and cycles for progressive decrease of helium evaporation temperature from 4 down to 1 K are proposed, where multistage ejector system serves as a compression unit. Rated COP of 4 staged ejector system reaches 0.083. Helium pre-cooling could be performed by cascade ejector refrigerating system without electrical power consumption.
