Cooling with liquid helium: recent developments and applications.
Author(s) : HEIDEN C.
Summary
The persisting demand for closed-cycle refrigeration with liquid helium at small to medium cooling power levels have led to new developments that are highlighted by the enhancement of refrigeration power at low temperatures using magnetic regenerator materials on one side and the use of cascaded pulse tube refrigerators with no moving cold parts on the other side.
