Systems of cryogenic support of rare gas production processes at temperatures of 63-78.

Summary

The paper presents three methods used to maintain a cryotemperature between the boiling point of nitrogen and the triple point of nitrogen. In order to remove the nitrogen condensation heat evolved from the (Ne-He)F-N2 mixture, the following sources for cooling the reflux condenser have been considered: liquid nitrogen boiling under vacuum, Stirling cryocoolers, and wave cryogenerators, which not use a refrigerating plant for cooling. A pre-production model that uses a wave cooling effect has been produced. The whole system is presented, as well as the design and the results of the experimental tests conducted on the wave cryogenerator.
