Modelling climatic effects on quality losses of perishable horticultural produce in postharvest period.

Summary

Plants of lettuce cv. Libusa were harvested at various stages of development from the rosette stage until shoot elongation and used to study the relationship between climatic effects and gas exchange and between gas exchange and changes in quality in order to derive processes for handling produce during climatically-controlled and uncontrolled phases of the postharvest period.
