Modelling of capillary tubes.

Modélisation des tubes capillaires.

Number: pap. n. 3.3

Author(s) : GUALLAR PARACUELLOS J., GUALLAR LARPA L.

Summary

Capillary tubes are mechanisms of expansion used on cooling systems when the required capacity is even just 5 kW. On this study, the modelling the dynamic-fluid operational work of capillary tubes is made by the means of EES (Engineering Equation Solver) program. On the developed program equations which control the expansion process cooling in the capillary tubes are implemented. This equation solution and the cooling property of resolution are made by the capillary pipe analysis stretch by stretch, considering these stretches are the same temperature fluctuation. Entry informations for this model are: kind of cooling, condenser pressure and exit temperature, internal diameter, refrigerator power of the system and evaporation temperature. Exit informations are: capillary pipe length required, mass flow and cooling from the capillary.
