Summary

THE STUDY OF THESE HEAT PUMPS LED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOM ICALLY PROFITABLE SYSTEMS. THEIR DEVELOPMENT REQUIRES PILOT INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS. EXTRAPOLATION FROM THE LABORATORY MOCK-UP TO THE PROTOTYPE IS ACHIEVED THROUGH A NUMERICAL SIMULATION. THIS STUDY UNDERLINES THE IMPORTANCE OF HIGH GLOBAL HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE MACHINE. IT DEVELOPS A SPECIFIC DIMENSIONING METHOD, BASED ON THE DYNAMIC SIMULATION OF THE PROCESS. THE SIMULATION OF OPERATING CYCLES LEADS TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PROCESS BY THE OPTIMIZATION OF THE CYCLE STRUCTURE.
