THE MODULAR SMOKING PLANT DEVELOPED AT THE VNIRO, THE THROUGHPUT OF WHICH IS 1 T/DAY, IS DESCRIBED. THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS TYPE OF STRUCTURE AND THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROJECT, DESIGN AND ACHIEVEMENT ARE REPORTED. THE NEW CONCEPT OF SMOKE-AIR MIXTURE SUPPLY REDUCES THE TIME OF THE SMOKING PROCESS BY 20 TO 30%. R.R.
