Natural cooling cycle in cooling towers: analysis of utilization.
Author(s) : HIPSKIND J. T., HAWKS K. H., GOLDSCHMIDT V. W., et al.
Summary
The design process for the natural cooling cycle is analyzed, and criteria for the relative usefulness of various natural cooling options are established. Various methods of condensing the input to the systems' evaluation were tested and compared with results of an hourly evaluation. Using data from an "average" day for each month provided an acceptable substitute for the hourly tests. Five important conclusions are given.
