Summary

New correlations are proposed to calculate important thermophysical properties, as vapor pressure, enthalpy, solubility, density and viscosity, of some aqueous solutions of alkali nitrate and nitrite proposed as adequate absorbents for absorption refrigeration and heat pumps activated at high temperature. Pressure-temperature-composition and enthalpy-temperature-composition diagrams have been obtaibed for the aqueous solutions of LiNO3 + NaNO3 + KNO3 in mass fraction ratio (53:19:28) and LiNO3 + KNO3 + NaNO2 (53:35:12).
