Summary
Zurich's new electricity board building (EWZ) is a triangular five-storey building. Optimized daylighting and natural ventilation via atriums are two of the more noticeable devices used. Other less obvious measures include the storage of heating and cooling energy, and a life-cycle approach to the environmental impact of the building materials used.
