New superconducting coil configuration for energy storage.

Summary
A new configuration that minimizes external pollution is studied in the paper. The theoretical system is composed of two spherical, concentric distributions of current. An analytical study for solving the Laplace and Helmoltz equations was applied, in order to introduce the equivalent magnetic moments. A second study was done on the numerical approach of this design using coaxial solenoids. A comparison between this new system and current systems is presented as a conclusion.
