Author(s) : FARAON A., OLALLA P.

Summary

The study deals with reducing noise in high efficiency compressors. Empirical and simulation techniques have been used. Two main compressor parts were analyzed and redesigned: the suction muffler and the shell. The improvements described were applied to a full range of R134a and R600a compressor for household appliances.
