Non destructive detection of internal defects of melons by nuclear magnetic resonance imaging.

Détection non destructive de défauts internes des melons par imagerie en résonance magnétique nucléaire.

Summary

Experiments were performed on a Bruker Tomikon R28 imaging system using resistive magnet operating at 0.28 T. Good results were obtained and show two priority aims of future research: better knowledge of water soaking phenomenon and optimization of conditions for better freezing of melons.
