Summary

BASED ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE EQUATION FOR ORDER PARAMETER RELAXATION OF SUPERCONDUCTORS, THE RELAXATION PROCESS OF TYPE-I SUPERCONDUCTOR NONUNIFORM STATES NEAR THE N-S PHASE TRANSITION IN MAGNETIC FIELD IS STUDIED. USING THE GINZBURG-LANDAU EQUATIONS, THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL LIFSHITS RELAXATION CONSTANT OF S-STATE IS DETERMINED AND POSSIBLE RATES OF QUENCHING AND NUCLEATION OF THE S-PHASE ARE ESTIMATED.
