Summary

Radish cultivars Antep, AG-9105, Cherry Belle and 8TR-17 were prepared with leaves, leafless and semi-leafly following harvest, and then stored under NA and MA conditions at 0 plus or minus 1 °C and 90-95% relative humidity. The physical and chemical changes (weight loss, flesh firmness, soluble solids, titratable acidity, hollowing ratio and overall appearance) were determined at 15-day intervals (0, 15, 30, 45 and 60) and during 7-day shelf life. The leafless condition of Antep gave the best results with respect to the parameters investigated and this was followed by Cherry Belle, AG-9105 and 8TR-17 under MA conditions.
