Summary
The work focused on the influence of storage conditions on selected qualitative features of pears. Three cultivars of pears were investigated in this study: 'Shinseiki', 'Hosui' and 'Chojuro'. The fruits were stored under common cold storage conditions and controlled atmosphere (0°C; 1,5% CO2: 1,5% O2 and 1,5% CO2: 3% O2). The quality of pears was evaluated after 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 months of storage. Firmness, juiciness, soluble solids and acidity were determined.
