Summary
The shaft oil feed system is very important for performance and reliability of rotary compressor. For realizing the characters of oil feed system, the CFD software is applied to simulate the whole shaft oil feed system of rotary compressor with VOF method and the experimental equipment is set up in this paper. The error of oil flux of the spiral groove in the upper flange between the numerical and experimental result is less than 10%. It shows that the numerical method is feasible.
