ON ICE BANKS IN RELATION TO THE EXERGY DEPENDENCE UPON ENVIRONMENT TEMPERATURE.

Author(s) : BISIO G., RUBATTO G.

Summary

THE AIM OF THE PAPER IS TO CONSIDER THE EXERGY OF A SYSTEM IN WHICH THE TEMPERATURE OF THE ENVIRONMENT IS FLUCTUATING. THIS SUBJECT IS OF PARTICULAR INTEREST WHEN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE SYSTEM IS NOT VERY DIFFERENT FROM THAT OF THE ENVIRONMENT. THE EXERGY SOURCE IN THE SYSTEM-ENVIRONMENT COMBINATION RESULTING FROM THESE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS, IS EXPLAINED AS THOUGH LINKED TO THE VARIATION OF THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE REMAINING SURROUNDINGS. BASED ON THESE CONSIDERATIONS, THE AUTHORS STUDY THE TECHNICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY INTERESTING CONDITIONS OF ICE BANKS.
