Type of article: Article, Case study

Summary

Analyses the natural conditions to use the composite energy system of gas-fired CCHP and river water source heat pump for district heating and cooling in Chongqing CBD Headquarter Economic Zone. Combining the dynamic heating and cooling load with the configuration of the cold and heat source units, determines the priority of opening order for the units and the optimal operation strategy of cold and heat source systems, and obtains the energy consumption of the composite system, based on the principles of the unit operation with the economic costs of lowest exergy preferentially, the unit operating at high load ratio, and without afterburning of the flue gas for apsorption water chiller, etc. Analyses the variation law for the break-even point of the cooling and heating price and its sensitivity when the resource price varies from 90% to 130%.
