Opposite customer types dictate marketing tactics for CFC recovery.

Summary
USA air-conditioning contractors determine approaches to CFC-recovery depending on their customers. Two are cited. One deals exclusively with high-income residential districts where it is possible to market the idea of CFC-recovery to a receptive clientele who expects to pay more. The other operates in a lower-income area where the minimum of extra cost must prevail. This contractor finds it is less trouble to recover CFCs and sell the refrigerant to a wholesaler for any cleaning required for re-use. D.W.H.
