Summary
Room temperature controllers of air conditioners make increasing progress, as some newer computer software technologies, such as fuzzy logic and neural network, are applied in order to satisfy user's comfort. However, it is difficult to design these controllers using conventional experimental methods, because of their very complicated structures. The purpose of this study is to make a linear-discrete model for the room temperature control system of air conditoners using the system identification method. The authors discuss effects of the air conditioner load on controlled system dynamics, on the basis of these simulations models.
