THIS PAPER CONCERNS THE INTERMEDIATE PRESSURES PI OF A NH3 COMPOUND CYCLE TO OBTAIN THE MINIMUM OF TOTAL SWEPT VOLUME OF COMPRESSORS AND THE MINIMUM OF THEIR TOTAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION. THE INFLUENCE OF PUMPS AND FANS OF COOLING TOWERS ON THE TOTAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION IS STUDIED.
