Summary
In order to obtain reliable, efficient ice-slurry systems, optimized parameter design is required. In this paper, the authors elucidate the mechanism of freezing point depression. For given ice-packing factors, solution concentrations and temperatures, they provide curves to be used to design systems and optimize properties.
