Summary
Insulation in external walls of buildings has been attracting much more interest in recent years in Turkey, not only because of the environmental effects of the energy consumed but also because of the high cost of the energy. Therefore, the optimum insulation thickness was investigated in this study for the coldest cities in Turkey such as Erzurum, Kars and Erzincan. The economic impact is presented.
