Summary

A SUBLIMATION DEHYDRATION MODEL FOR THE LAYER OF A DISPERSED PRODUCT IS DESCRIBED, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE NON-LINEARITY OF TEMPERATURE AND VAPOUR PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION ACCORDING TO LAYER THICKNESS. THE AUTHORS SHOW THAT THE NON-LINEARITY OF PARAMETER DISTRIBUTION RESULTS IN THE REDISTRIBUTION OF THERMAL AND MASS FLOWS IN LAYERS BEING DRIED BY SUBLIMATION AND CAUSES A DECREASE IN LAYER POROSITY IN PRACTICE AND WHICH SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN THE CALCULATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SUBLIMATION PLANT.
