Summary

A new environment-friendly working medium R1234ze(E) was used as the working fluid in the high-temperature heat pump system with flash tank. The performance parameters including performance coefficient, exhaust temperature, condensing heat and compressor power, were analyzed under different evaporation temperature, condensing temperature and compressor compression ratio at first stage compression. The relationship between the first stage compression ratio and evaporating and condensing temperature parameters when the system has the best COP was fitted. The results showed that: the heat pump system has an optimum first stage pressure ratio, so that the system can obtain an optimum COP. At different evaporating and condensating temperatures, the exhaust temperature increases with the increase of the first stage compressing ratio.
