Performance analysis of R410A air conditioning system at variable speeds.

Summary

The paper introduces the simulation models of a split-type air conditioning system which mainly include compressor, condenser, electronic expansion valve (EEV) and evaporator. The models corresponding to different parts of the system are in coupling each other which needs the help of computer to get optimum results. The simulation results are under the conditions that the inlet and outlet temperatures of the heat sink and source air are specified as known parameters, which show that the heat transfer area of the evaporator is effectively used by using EEV to control the superheat degrees of the evaporator outlet. Finally, the system optimum charge R410A inventory at different compressor speeds is calculated for a given condition.
