Author(s) : YAMADA M., FUKUSAKO S., KAWANAMI T.

Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

For the purpose of determining the optimum operating condition of a liquid-ice thermal storage system, performance analysis has been carried out. The target system consisted of a refrigerator, its auxiliary devices, a liquid-ice production device, piping system, and thermal load section. The system performances were widely analytically for the variety of operating conditions including the cycle performance of a refrigerator. The optimum operating condition of the liquid-ice thermal storage system from the viewpoint of COP and the performance of heat release were discussed.
