Summary

The paper describes different versions of a compression-absorption hybrid cycle operating on the working pair ammonia-water. The two-stage cycle consists of one compressor, two evaporators at different temperatures, two absorbers and two desorbers (or one absorber, one desorber and one intermediate absorber/desorber). The cycle is supplemented by an extraction device, or by a rectification column. The suppression of the rectifier improves the overall COP. The operation was simulated, the results are given with diagrams.
