Performance evaluation of Stirling cycle cryocooler.
Author(s) : LELE M. M., BAPAT S. L., NARAYANKHEDKAR K. G.
Summary
The cyclic analysis is developed and used as a major tool for predicting the theoretical performance of Stirling cryocooler to meet the design objective of 3 W at 80 K application. Based on the analysis, the Stirling cryocooler is designed and developed to meet design objective. The unit was operated at design and off-design conditions to check the performance. It was observed that performance was in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
