Summary

The hour-by-hour performance is predicted, using 20 years of local climatological data. For heating purposes (winter), the ammonia-lithium nitrate system is superior to the ammonia-sodium thiocyanate one, because it provides a higher heat-gain factor and useful thermal power. For cooling during summer, the choice depends on the special requirements of each application, because the ammonia-lithium nitrate system provides higher cooling power, while the ammonia-sodium thiocyanate system achieves a higher COP.
