Summary
This paper has carried out a few experiments on the performance of air cooler to obtain the varied heat transfer coefficient in relevant operational. Based on experimental results, the heat transfer coefficient of the used domestic air cooler with smooth tube is far behind the Roller’s with the smooth tube and internally finned tube. The heat transfer theoretical analysis indicates the domestic air cooler supposes to have a higher efficiency. But the efficiency happens to be lower by the factors of the material selection of finned tube, fluid passage arrangement, production technology, uniform distribution of the air flow and air resistance, and so on.
