Summary
Presents the working principle of medium temperature chiller with induction air unit system. It obtains supply air temperature of 13°C by extensive type air handling unit with fin oval tube heat exchanger. Tests the temperature, relative humidity and energy consumption in an office building with this system in summer of 2013. The results show that both of indoor temperature and humidity keep n the design range. The dew point temperature of indoor air is much lower than the supply air temperature from air inductive unit, without condensed water or condensation on the surface of air inductive unit. The performance of the circulation pump, fan in the extensive type air handling unit and medium temperature chiller is better than the requirements of national standards.
