THE RETAIL TRADE FOR FOODS DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH INFORMATION AB OUT REFRIGERATED CABINETS TO PURCHASE AN ENERGY-EFFICIENT CABINET WITH CORRECT PRESERVATION CONDITIONS. THIS ARTICLE DESCRIBES HOW REFRIGERATED CABINETS CAN BE TESTED AND HOW TEST DATA CAN BE PRESENTED ON A CERTIFICATE. FIRST RESULTS INDICATE THAT MANY WIDE OPEN-TOPPED DEEP-FREEZE CABINETS HAVE SEVERE PROBLEMS IN MAINTAINING TEMPERATURES BELOW 261 K (-12 DEG C) IN THE TOPLAYER.
