Perturbation of the climate system due to stratospheric ozone depletion.

Type of article: Article
Summary
Considerations on the resultant radiative forcing of the climate system due to the observed losses of stratospheric ozone in the middle and high latitudes over the past decade. If global scale ozone losses continue to occur in the lower stratospheric region, this would make the stratospheric ozone forcing more negative. If the losses extend to occur solely in the middle and upper strato, the sign of the ozone forcing could become positive, thus adding to the global greenhouse forcing.
