Summary

NORMAL AND SUPERCONDUCTING POINT CONTACTS OF TIN AND INDIUM ARE INVESTIGATED. THE SECOND DERIVATIVES OF CURRENT-VOLTAGE CHARACTERISTICS AND THE VOLTAGE DEPENDENCE OF EXCESS CURRENT OF A POINT CONTACT ARE MEASURED AT DIFFERENT FIXED VALUES OF TEMPERATURE AND MAGNETIC FIELD. SOME SPECIFIC FEATURES OF ELECTRON-PHONON INTERACTION (EPI) IN SPECTRA OF PURE SUPERCONDUCTING POINT CONTACTS ARE OBSERVED. IT IS SHOWN THAT AS THE METAL PURITY IS LOWERED, THE RESOLUTION OF THE EPI SPECIFIC FEATURES IN THE SECOND DERIVATIVES OF CURRENT-VOLTAGE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING POINT CONTACT IS REDUCED.
