Summary

THE MEANING OF THE ENERGETIC TERM IN THE PLANK'S EQUATION IN DIFFERENT APPROXIMATIONS HAS BEEN STUDIED. THE RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH EXPERIMENTS PERFORMED ON THE FREEZING OF PURE SUBSTANCES. A NEW PROCEDURE TO CALCULATE FREEZING TIMES IN EUTECTIC MIXTURES IS ALSO INTRODUCED.
