Author(s) : TANTAM D. H., WIGLEY D. A.

Summary

ALTHOUGH PIPE FREEZING HAS BEEN USED SUCCESSFULLY ON A LIMITED SCALE FOR SOME YEARS, THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ITS FULL POTENTIAL WILL COME FROM A BETTER KNOWLEDGE OF THE BOUNDARIES OF ITS FIELD OF APPLICATION. THIS APPRAISAL SHOWS THAT MUCH NEEDS TO BE DONE ON THE COLLECTION AND EXAMINATION OF PRACTICAL DATA, BACKED BY CONTROLLED INVESTIGATION TO SET UP CODES OF PRACTICE, TO THE BENEFIT OF BOTH CUSTOMER AND CONTRACTOR.
