Summary

Dehumidification of greenhouses was not necessary in the past due to the possibility of condensation on the windows. With better window constructions and higher humidification induced by direct heating systems, a need for dehumidification has arisen, particularly during the transition period. With a heating system, good conditions exist for the application of sorptive dehumidifying using an outdoor air heat exchanger as condenser, which will be an optimal solution on the energy side.
