Power generation by CDE systems and the high absorption ability of CCS.

Author(s) : ISSHIKI N.

Summary

The CDE (concentration difference energy) system is a power generating system using LiCl, CaCl2 or other highly concentrated solutions and water pair by use of an advanced cycle of absorption cooling alone, and CDE cars were successfully experimented. CCS (constant curvature surface) is the name of the shape of finned or grooved absorber surfaces and by even surface tension, on the surface absorbing liquid layer, the surface becomes very wettable, ensuring that surfaces have very good absorption heat transfer.
