PRACTICAL EXPERIENCES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF LIQUID INJECTION USING ADAPTIVE SUPERHEAT CONTROL.

Author(s) : COOPER J. A., SMITH T. D.

Summary

THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENERGY EFFICIENT SYSTEMS HAS UNDERLINED CLEARLY THE DRAWBACKS OF THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVES AND LED TO THE DEVELOPMENTOF AN ADAPTIVE SUPERHEAT CONTROL SYSTEM. COMPARATIVE STUDIES WERE CARRIED OUT UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO DETERMINE WHETHER SUCH A CONTROL CONCEPT OFFERS REAL ADVANTAGES OR NOT. THE POSITIVE RESULTS OBTAINED MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO DESIGN AND OPTIMIZE ENERGY EFFICIENT SYSTEMS THANKS TO THIS NEW CONTROL MODE.
