PREDICTION METHOD OF POOL BOILING HEAT TRANSFER WITH CRYOGENIC LIQUIDS.

Author(s) : GORENFLO D., SOKOL P.

Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

THE METHOD DESCRIBES THE INFLUENCES OF HEAT FLUX AND SATURATION PRESSURE ON THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT FOR CRYOLIQUIDS IN THE SAME WAY AS FOR ORGANIC LIQUIDS. USING THIS METHOD, THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT CAN BE CALCULATED WITHIN AN EXTENDED RANGE OF HEAT FLUXES (FROM THE BEGINNING OF NUCLEATION TO THE VICINITY OF BURNOUT) AND PRESSURES (FROM 0.1 BAR TO 90% OF THE CRITICAL PRESSURE), IF A REFERENCE VALUE IS KNOWN AT ANY HEAT FLUX OR PRESSURE.
