Predictive models used to measure the interactions in mixed populations.

Summary
The authors' purpose was to determine the differences between the individual and joint growth of different groups of organisms. Both the individual and the joined growth of these organisms were studied at different temperature and pH values. The main growth parameters were described by a multivariate polynomial model in terms of temperature and pH.
