Summary

This general study of the dangers caused by low and excess pressures in cold rooms suggests that it is not possible to work out a formula to determine the type and number of balance valves required to prevent accidents, for every different case. Therefore he suggests that a number of categories of spaces be defined for which it would be possible to develop a simple formula, fit for the cases of this category, by means of a few simplifying hypothesis.
