PRESSURE INFLUENCE ON HEAT PEAK FLUXES IN UNSATURATED HELIUM II.

Summary

THE EXPERIMENTAL SYSTEM FOR INVESTIGATING HEAT EXCHANGE IRREGULARITIES IN HELIUM II HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 2.00 TO 2.17 K AND PRESSURES RANGING FROM 3 TO 170 KILOPASCALS. THE RELATION FOR THE MAXIMUM HEAT EXCHANGE, ACCORDING TO THE PRESSURE, CORRESPONDS TO THE RESULT OF THE EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH FOR THE CYLINDERS IN THE VOLUME OF SUPERFLUID HELIUM. THE ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS ENABLED ONE TO DETERMINE THE NOISY AND SILENT BOILING BOUNDARIES OF UNSATURATED HELIUM II, AS PRESENTED IN THE GENERALIZEDDIAGRAM ON THESE STATES.
