SOME SIMPLE RULES FOR THE COLD STORE OPERATOR. FIRST FOR PRE-FABRICATED INSULATED STRUCTURES, THE AUTHOR ADVISES THE USE OF POLYURETHANNE FOAMED PANELS WITH STEEL CLADDING. INTERIORS TO BE KEPT CLEAN BUT NOT HOSED DOWN. FOR ALL STORES, CHECK THAT TEMPERATURES ARE NOT BELOW REQUIRED LEVELS, THAT INCOMING GOODS HAVE NOT CHANGED IN TEMPERATURE OR QUANTITY SINCE THE ORIGINAL SPECIFICATION. SECONDLY THE PLANT MUST OPERATE WITH ADEQUATE CONDENSER COOLANT FLOW AND AIR FLOW BOTH OVER THE EVAPORATORS AND ALSO WITHIN THE SPACE.
