Summary
The authors review the production of absorption household refrigerators in Europe and in other parts of the world, and give certain details of their design and general technical characteristics. This production represents from 5 to 10 % of the total production of refrigerators in different countries. In Europe the production of absorption household refrigerators reaches about 1.3 million per year. The contribution of various firms is described. C.C.
